Monthly horticultural forecasts

The forecasts give detailed specialised information on the next two weeks weather tailored to your exact location with an outlook for the following two week period as well. All forecasts are carefully prepared by experienced & ex-Met Office staff, so you can be assured that you'll get a precise, detailed and accurate forecast.

In preparing your forecast we will look at elements such as your soil type, height, drainage, exposure and your locations frost risk. We'll also add a section on warnings relating to conditions such as black moulds, pest infestations and ground issues such as potential flooding and frozen ground. In fact we'll fine tune all our data that we offer to you to ensure it really is YOUR nursery or garden that we are forecasting for. We will add other severe weather parameters if necessary to your forecast, such as low humidities, high transpiration or high heat index; these are coded under the 'other' section of the forecast

* Notes

'Likelihood' of occurance is defined as the chance of the event happening being greater in your location than 40% on a particular day. In meteorological terms this is defined as being a moderate risk and is high enough to warrant reasonable precautions being taken.
